284.0. No exercise.

Breakfast Teaching: Welcome Home: The High Cost Of Our Inheritance with Pastor Robert Morris

I have a continuous low-grade headache that gets slightly nauseating if I focus on it. Sifting my day ahead 6 hours could go a little better. Due to the headache and nausea I am not exercising or practicing guitar this morning. Today is going to be a little long since tomorrow is back to my normal schedule.

I will have a longer Quiet Time today. I went to bed around 4:45 p.m. yesterday to get up at midnight. I struggled to stay asleep between 8:30 and 11:00. It may seem silly, but my before work routine is about 6 hours, including getting to work.

It sounded like my son got home safely after his work. I hope it was uneventful. (When I got home today I found out it was indeed uneventful. Yay!)

Read Luke 5:17.

Some time after LORD Jesus healed the leper, on a “certain day” as LORD Jesus was teaching Pharisees and doctors of Jewish law and tradition from every town in Galilee, and Judea, and Jerusalem were present and listening to LORD Jesus teach. Sadly, many of them did not come to truly learn or understand what LORD Jesus was teaching about, but were there to find fault with LORD Jesus and His teaching. Today it seems to have become an industry of so-called “ministries” that spend what seems to be a majority of their time complaining and finding fault with others. I wonder what they would do to the original apostles who presented the Good News not only in WORD but also in Power like our LORD Jesus did, like our LORD Jesus commanded them to do, and like our LORD Jesus commanded them to continually teach others to do.

My word to such modern day Pharisees: Stop your complaining and nit-picking and do better; give us a more Christ-like example to follow than those you so enjoy complaining about and tearing down, or sit down and shut up.
