Dream:

I was in an industrial facility and this pinkish-red blob started coming out of the openings in the floor and side rooms. It stretched its blobbish self like tendrils reaching out, grabbing, killing, and absorbing people, and growing bigger. I woke up and began praying in the Spirit. As I went back to sleep I was in a much larger industrial setting and the blob was enormous, reaching out for and grabbing people everywhere. I saw a man with a sword; the blob reached for him with a tendril, but this tendril had a face-like expression on the end of it. The man with the sword side-stepped the tendril and cut clean through it just behind the head. This seemed to make the blob shudder a moment. I awoke again and was praying in the Spirit. As I went to sleep again I was in a wooded setting with the blob being so large in size it seemed hopeless. As people were being grabbed all around me I expected to see a man with a sword, but a different one from the previous one, arrive to fight this blob, but he never appeared. After a few moments I woke up praying in the Spirit again. After a few minutes I went back to sleep again

After I woke up for the day I was thinking about this dream. The blob never actually reached for me. As terrifying as the dream was, the blob never reached for me. Then I remembered parts of Psalm 91:

A thousand shall fall at thy side and ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come nigh thee.

Also:

Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night.

Each of these attacks were in a night time setting.
