Funny thing happened last night. I got home from working at the Valpo Viking Family Express around 8:30 p.m. My 6 year old grandson, Kaiden, was at our house for his weekly sleep over with Grandma. He was all full of energy. I went through the house and changed the clocks to an hour ahead so we wouldn’t forget. My precious wife, Anita, a little while later came and told me that Kaiden was all full of energy, but after I turned the clocks ahead he suddenly was tired and had settled down. After I finished changing clothes and began heating up my dinner, I went in the living room for a few minutes and Kaiden was falling asleep on the couch. How funny is this?
With the time change last night I got about 6.5 hours of sleep. No exercises (lunges) or guitar practice this morning. With Anita and Kaiden still sleeping I don’t want to take a chance waking them up. So, I will have a slightly longer quiet time with GOD.
I feel as though I am almost up to speed at work. I still have some strength to work on, especially concerning steps, ladders, and getting up from the floor when working on low shelves. After sitting to do my paperwork at the end of shift my whole body tightens up. It causes me to hunch over a little and walk funny. Even more so after my ride home. Eventually, I am hoping I will even overcome this.
Read Matthew 23.
