My Journey: Wednesday-Thursday, December 4-5, 2019

Wednesday started out as usual, with breakfast while watching:

Dr. Henry Cloud – The Power of Prayer – The Power of the Other

Then I walked for 47 minutes covering 1.47 miles while watching:

Blynda Lane – The Power of Prayer – What the World Needs Now

I then went to work for my last four hour shift at Family Express; half way through I started having problems with gas bubbles in my intestines causing me a lot of pain and discomfort. I also threw up a bunch of clear mucus twice; much more the second time. I was in so much pain and discomfort I didn’t eat any dinner, but just sat on the couch until it was time to go to bed.

Thursday morning I had to get up at 6:00 to be at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis for an ultrasound appointment to check my legs for blood clots. This was a serious problem when I was in the hospital from August 18th through October 8th. This ultrasound scan took just over an hour for both legs altogether. The report was that I have no more blood clots, so next week I have to go back down to Indy to have the filter removed from my Vena Cava. I will still be on eliquis for a few more months just to make sure everything stays good; as far as I understand. The eliquis is the only medication I am taking now after all I went through. Praise be to GOD! And it will only be for a little while longer.

Tomorrow I start working eight hour shifts with a five days a week schedule; full time. Yay again!

GOD is so faithful and gracious towards me. I’m even doing the training for the Delivery Driver position I am supposed to be moved to. The training will be later this month, and I am supposed to start working the new position next month. How blessed am I?

Thank you for reading My Journey today.

Be Most Blessed!
