My Journey: Monday, November 18, 2018-Treadmill Walk, Doctor Visit, Guitar Practice

Today was another good day. When I got up this morning I did my usual stuff to wake up and get going. While eating breakfast I watched the teaching at:

Pastor Robert Morris – Symbols – More Than Words

Then I did my treadmill walk of 36 minutes covering a distance of 1.11 miles while watching more teaching:

Robert Morris – Good Stewards – Beyond Blessed

These are both very excellent teachings which I strongly recommend everybody listen to or watch. You will be blessed.

I also went to Dr. Tumuluri in La Port, my primary care physician, today. My blood pressure was down to 127/79; quite good. My weight was at 268 with sweats on, which is 7 pounds more than last month. I lost a lot of weight and muscle while I was in the hospital. I have gained about 20 pounds in the past two months. Now with starting to work again and as my treadmill walks become longer, I expect to level off the weight gain and start reversing it, but by losing mostly fat instead of a massive loss of muscle again.

I practiced guitar this evening. Guitar practice is going rather well. I am refraining from extending my practice sessions right now. I want to practice enough to keep improving, but not so much that I stop enjoying it or it crowds out the other things I need to get done.

Tomorrow will be my first 4-hour work day since getting out of the hospital. This will be interesting; especially since it will be at a Family Express store I have never worked at before. This will be good for me because it will stretch my stamina for work. I will be working 4 hour days for the next two weeks, then go to full time. Yay!

Thank you for reading My Journey today.

Be most blessed!
