Today was a good day. I started out with breakfast while watching:
A very good message we all need to hear.
Then I did my treadmill walk for 35 minutes covering 1.07 miles while listening to:
Another excellent teaching by Pastor Morris.
Next was working at the Valparaiso University Family Express store from 10:a.m. until noon.
After this I went home to pick up my wife, Anita, on the way to South Haven Elementary School for grandparents day. We watched each of grades K-3 sing a song in the multi-purpose room. Then we got to visit Kaiden’s (our grandson) classroom and he gave us the grand tour of each area of the room, telling us what activities he did in each area and with what supplies. He also gave us a tour of the school library. It was quite nice.
We then went to Culver’s in Portage for lunch and finally to the Portage Walmart to do our grocery shopping; which had me walking and on my feet for another hour and a half. I spent a lot of time on my feet today; much more than usual. I can feel all the activity from today and yesterday, in a good way. I know this isn’t even up to the “life as usual” activity yet, but I haven’t been able to do “life as usual” for over two months now. My body is still adjusting, but doing so quite well; well enough to surprise most people who know what I am finishing up going through.
I am truly blessed with my life. Soon I will be able to be a blessing to others. Praise be to GOD.
Thank you for reading My Journey today.
Be most blessed.
