My Journey: Sunday, October 27, 2019-Urostomy Leak, Consistent Walk, Gathering With The Saints Of Bethel Valparaiso

I have two questions for those of you who have or know someone who has a urostomy bag. Do they have a regular problem with the sticky wax seal on it giving way after only a day or two? Did they maybe only have this problem during the first couple months they had their urostomy bag? Last night at 2:00 a.m. I woke up to turn over from my left side to my right, and I grabbed the hose that hooks my urostomy bag up to the overnight bag (which holds about 2 liters so I don’t have to wake up every two hours to empty the personal bag attached to me) to make sure it didn’t pull on the bag as I turned and I felt dampness. It seems the seal on my urostomy bag had failed. Today, after my usual Sunday’s activities of walking and gathering with the saints at Bethel Valparaiso (we meet in the late afternoon I came home, ate, and while watching TV I checked to see if it was time to empty the urostomy bag, and it was damp on the outside adhesive square, which means the inner sticky wax seal had already failed again. I’m supposed to be changing the urostomy bag every three to five days, not every day or two. If anybody has experience with this problem, please leave a comment at the bottom of this article letting me, and others who may be having this problem, know how you handled it. I would sincerely appreciate it.

I went to Haven Hallow Park to walk, once again. My time is consistent: first lap in 12 minutes, second and third laps in 13 minutes each. My next walk around the park, weather permitting, I expect to start doing four laps. I really want to build my time up to one hour a day. I was going to have my old treadmill moved into our recently emptied back room today, but my sons’ schedules did not permit it. It looks like they will move it Tuesday evening. This will be a great help for keeping up with my walks throughout the coming winter season.

Gathering with the saints at Bethel Valparaiso was quite nice today. I seemed to be more in tune with today’s praise and worship than the past two weeks. We had a few testimonies of prophetic words, and I was prayed for three separate times by various people. Everyone is praying for our Creator GOD to do a creative miracle in me and put my body back together as though nothing was ever wrong with it. This would remove my urostomy, replace my bladder and prostate, reconnect my nerves to sexual function, put my intestines back to their normal configuration as well as my ureter tubes from my kidneys to the new bladder, get rid of all blood clots and the reason they are/were happening, and restore the rest of my body to GOD’s original design specs. Our Creator GOD is capable of speaking all creation into existence, including all the laws by which everything in creation operates by, so He can easily return my body to its original design specs. To have a medically documented miraculous healing and creative miracle such as this will be awesome! When will it come to pass? I don’t know. I only know my answer to everything is to just keep getting closer to Almighty GOD—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

The teaching tonight by Jason was focused on healing, and how LORD Jesus healed people whether they believed or not, including some that did not expect it. Why would LORD Jesus do such a thing?

John 3:16-17  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  (17)  For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

The result of healing people just because our Heavenly Father loves them, no strings attached, is to show just that: that our Heavenly Father is NOT mad at them, but absolutely LOVES them. The response to receiving such healing is often the healing of the people’s inner hurts realizing GOD LOVES them, which often leads to praise and worship and repentance, and a new relationship with our Abba Father by grace through faith in our LORD Jesus Christ.

Thank you for reading my blog today.

Be most blessed!
