With continued persistence. I will eventually have to make a downward trend in weight.
Today is my first Saturday off. I went to bed later than I wanted, so I got up later than I wanted. I need to do my weekend chores, then spend a good bit of the day with Kaiden. He’s an awesome little guy. I’m thinking Funflatables today. He hasn’t been there in a long time. We’ll get to spend more time there now that my schedule is changed. This first few weeks may take some getting accustomed to, but I believe it will be a good thing.

Yesterday I was blessed to spend a good amount of time with my grandson, Kaiden. Quite an enjoyable day. Today he wanted to again, but today is his daddy’s day.
I was up late last night and slept in. I’m feeling rather good today.
Anita is still in a place where she won’t go “to church”, but she likes starting her day watching different ministries on TV. She watched a message from Elevation Church today. It was a good one, as it seems they generally are. Anyway, since I’m not doing sound today I asked her if she wanted to do something, anything. I asked her last night, and her only response was, “Why do you go to church?” My only answer was that we need to be a part of something bigger than ourselves, we need to be with others.
Bethel Valparaiso has been through a lot the past 10 years. In just the past year since I’ve been attending again, after about a fiver year break, it seems so much is happening in and to this congregation that, quite frankly, it’s amazing it still exists. There seems to be two constants that I see in this congregation: 1) they love GOD, and 2) they have a love for each other and people in general. Things may be handled less than perfectly from time to time, but there is repentance and love. I don’t know what will happen to this congregation, I only know they have a heart for Almighty GOD, and it feels like home.
