Turning The United States Of America Around: Part 3–The Solution

WARNING!!! This article may be offensive to many of those who claim to be Christians!

The problems of the United States Of America start and end with those who claim to be Christians!

Have you ever said, “Gee, if those politicians would just be honest and do what they were elected to do”? If so, you are part of the problem.

Have you ever said, “If only the younger generation would wake up and realize nobody owes them anything.”? If so, you are part of the problem.

Have you ever said, “If only all these messed up people would get right with Almighty GOD, our world would be so much better”? If so, you are part of the problem.

Are you part of the problem? I didn’t think I was until my eyes were opened to the fact that I was, and still am to a lesser degree.

Almighty GOD did not call us who claim to be Christians to judge the world, or those in the world. They are already judged, and there is only one way to change the judgment against them. Almighty GOD did not call us who claim to be Christians to gossip, and gripe, and complain about the politicians, or the teachers, or the media, or the gangs, or churches, or pastors, or anybody else.

Do you want the United States Of America to turn around and become the truly awesome country that it really can be? Do you want the United States Of America to become a nation that does what is right no matter what? Do you want the United States Of America to become so blessed that it becomes a very bright shining light of hope to the rest of the world? THEN STOP LOOKING AT EVERYBODY ELSE AND START LOOKING IN YOUR OWN MIRROR! THIS ESPECIALLY INCLUDES ME!

Almighty GOD our Creator said:

2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Almighty GOD said, “If my people, which are called by my name…”

I really do not think 99 plus percent of us really understand what this Holy Scripture is saying. How about putting it in very blunt terms, “If my children will stop taking My Name in vain, as though it means nothing to them to be called by My Name and continue living like the rest of the world…”

You see, when we become born again, we are birthed into the the spiritual family of Almighty GOD as His children, we are given His Name, the Name of our Abba Father. Every where we go, every thing we do reflects upon His Holy Name by which we are called. How dare we call ourselves “Christian” and live like the world, trying to get away with as much as we can and yet still soothe our own consciences?

A “Christian”, a REAL “Christian” is an anointed follower of The Anointed One our LORD Jesus Christ. Our faith in The LORD Jesus Christ should be so obvious that NOBODY should ever have to ask us if we are a “Christian”. If we have to be asked, then I dare say, we are taking the Name Of Almighty GOD in vain.

Think about this for a little bit with me, please. Who is it that takes another’s name? A wife takes the name of her husband. A child is given the name of his/her father, and takes that name wherever he/she goes. An adopted child takes the name of the father adopting him/her.

Are we not called to mature into the pure Bride of Christ Jesus? Does our life reflect the honor, love, purity, and integrity of one who would be wed to the LORD Jesus Christ?

For those who are born as the natural seed of Abraham and have become born again, are you not naturally and supernaturally children of the Most High GOD? Do you not carry His Holy Name everywhere you go? Do you do so properly representing the Most Holy Majesty of All Creation?

For those who are not of natural Hebrew stock, but are born again, are you not adopted into the family of The Most High GOD as His Holy Children? Are you not also called to mature into a kingdom of kings and priests unto the LORD GOD Almighty?

Do any of us who are called or call ourselves “Christian” truly understand just WHO IT IS we represent on this earth every single moment of every single day of our lives? Do we not understand just WHOSE NAME it is that we carry?

Our Abba Father said, “If My people, who are called by My Name…”

The solution for all the problems in the United States Of American begin and end with the people of Almighty GOD who are called by His Holy Name. Yes, this means YOU, “CHRISTIAN”!!!

We MUST stop looking at others and start looking in our own mirrors, into our own hearts and minds, and understand that WE ARE THE PROBLEM AND CREATED TO BE THE SOLUTION!!!

How do we become the solution? How do we become the “salt of the earth”, sent by Almighty GOD to preserve this wonderful nation we are so blessed to live in? We do what our Abba Father plainly says:

1. We humble ourselves.

2. We pray.

3. We seek the Face of our Abba Father.

4. We turn from our wicked ways.

1. We humble ourselves.

From the Hebrew, to humble is:

“To bend the knee.” This is with the intent of placing oneself under subjection of a king or lord, or in the Christian’s case, under The LORD GOD Almighty, The King of all that exists.

Our Holy Scripture tells us:

Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

In the United States Of America, we fought a revolutionary war against the greatest power on earth at that time, because we were not represented properly before a king of a country. The generations of people living today, born in the United States, have no real comprehension of what a king or a lord is, yet the One we profess as our GOD, is not just a king or a lord; HE IS The KING of all kings, and HE IS The LORD of all lords. There is NO ONE above or even equal to Him. He is to rule every aspect of our lives; every moment of our existence belongs to Him. What does this even mean to us as human beings? Do we have any real comprehension of this simple truth? Are we willing to even put forth the effort to try to understand? To try to willingly submit in such a manner? If not, then we are choosing to be prideful and rebellious; and we choose to continue to be part of the problem in our country, in this world.

There is something else we should take purposeful note of. The LORD GOD Almighty does not ask us to bow, or bend the knee to anyone else, not even to His holy angels; nor to any one or any thing else. He wants us to come directly to Him. No middle man, no one to pass on our words. He wants us to come directly to Him and submit ONLY to Him as King of kings and LORD of lords. We must humble ourselves before Him.

What has The Creator of all that is created say about those who will do so?

James 4:10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

1 Peter 5:6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:

Is this not already enough of a promise to simply surrender and submit?

2. We pray.

In this passage of Holy Scripture, the Hebrew word for “pray” is a primitive root which actually means “to judge”, and by extension it can mean “intercede, pray”. Though it is translated at times as “pray”, “intreat”, “make supplication”, I believe in this particular passage we are being called to judge. In the following verses, the same Hebrew word is translated “judge”:

1 Samuel 2:25 If one man sin against another, the judge shall judge him: but if a man sin against the LORD, who shall intreat for him? Notwithstanding they hearkened not unto the voice of their father, because the LORD would slay them.

Psalm 106:30 Then stood up Phinehas, and executed judgment: and so the plague was stayed.

Ezekiel 16:52 Thou also, which hast judged thy sisters, bear thine own shame for thy sins that thou hast committed more abominable than they: they are more righteous than thou: yea, be thou confounded also, and bear thy shame, in that thou hast justified thy sisters.

Why would I believe this passage is calling us “to judge”?

1Corinthians 11:31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

I believe that we as “Christians” are called to stand before our Abba Father, The Judge of all creation, and judge our lives each day, and even each moment of the day. We are to judge where we, our individual selves, have sinned, and do so with ruthless honesty.

And think about this with me for just a few moments. Often we hear people, especially preachers, say that sin really only means “missed the mark”, as though they are saying, “Don’t worry, you’re okay. You did well enough, you just missed the mark.” Really? Does anybody see the ignorance of this? “Missing the mark” is just as bad a sin as murdering somebody. We aimed our arrow in the right direction, but our shot not only missed the bullseye, it never even came anywhere close to the target it fell so short. In fact, our arrows fall so short that the only way to get anywhere near the target is to rely completely upon the Grace and Holy Spirit of Almighty GOD; without the Grace of Almighty GOD and Holy Spirit, we would be getting spun around directionless and loosing our arrows in every conceivable direction, and often hitting each other. This is really quite a serious matter. It should deeply grieve us when we “miss the mark” in how we should have treated someone, or how we should have encouraged or prayed for someone whom our Abba Father brought across our path so that we would properly represent His Holy Name and His Holy LOVE to them. People meeting us should not be able to consistently walk away from us unchanged. If they do, then we must ask ourselves, “Are they actually meeting a son or daughter of the Most High GOD of all creation and encountering the LORD Jesus Christ the Hope Of Glory in me?”

I must pause here a moment to say, this writing is difficult for me. The truth of it is weighing very heavily upon my soul. I am in the greatest need of hearing, understanding, and learning to live this my very own self. I do indeed often find myself grieved by the answer to the last question.

As for judging ourselves…

Do we desire to be judged by men in this world? Do we enjoy when the people of the world look at us and say or think, “Look at that poor slobs life. Why on earth would I want to be like that?” or “He lives just like I do, and dares to tell me to get right with GOD?” or “What a Sunday Christian! All religious and holy at church, but a devil the rest of the time”?

When we judge ourselves, it is not to bring ourselves under condemnation, no, no, no, dearest brothers and sisters; when we judge ourselves it is to honestly take inventory of where, when, how, and why we committed any sin of commission or omission, why we missed any mark. We are to judge ourselves and how we missed the mark of GOD’s high calling upon our lives in Christ Jesus our LORD in order that we may see our need for Him, His Holy Spirit, His Holy Grace, and where we need to mature into the Image and Likeness of the Almighty GOD who created us to be His Blessed Children, carrying His Name and representing Him on this earth.

We must judge ourselves, not only in order to turn our country around (no matter what country you live in), but also to understand where we really stand in this life so we know what we must do next.

3. We seek Abba Father’s Face.

When we see our abject failure(s) every day, they should glaringly point out our need for our Redeemer Kinsman, our LORD Jesus Christ, and the power of Holy Spirit dwelling within us to help us. We should thus recognize our great and pressing need to be in the Presence of our Holy Abba Father, before His Very Face, confessing our failure and our sin to Him so that He may show Himself to be righteous and just to forgive us of all our sin and to cleanse us of all unrighteousness. I warn you though, brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus; first make sure to forgive everyone who has sinned against you. Remember, LORD Jesus taught us to pray, “Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.” We are also instructed in Colossians 3:13, Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.

If we find that we are having a difficult time forgiving someone, then all the more reason to seek the Face of Abba Father for His Help with this, after all, how can we forgive as perfectly as Christ Jesus forgave us without the help of Holy Spirit? With man it is impossible, but not with GOD, for with GOD all things are possible, including perfect forgiveness. And this is exactly Almighty GOD’s point. WE NEED HIM!!! We must seek Him in order to forgive perfectly. We must seek Him in order for Him to reveal where we have missed His Mark for our lives because there are things we are not even yet aware of that we need to mature in to. We must seek His Holy Face for every thing, in all things, at all times.

“Seek” in this passage means “to search out” and by implication “to strive after”. As it is interpreted, we must ask, beg, beseech, desire, enquire, get, make inquisition, procure, make requests, require, seek, with everything we are, by any and all means we can think of – prayer, praise, worship, fasting, waiting in quiet solitude – what ever it takes, we must pursue intimate, face-to-Face encounter with our Holy Abba Father; Who is waiting for us with arms open wide to scoop up His dear child and spend time with him/her and help set all things right.

Almighty GOD, our Abba Father is NOT waiting to squash you like a pesky, unwanted bug. Our Abba Father is The Perfect, Holy, Just Judge of all; yet, as our Abba Father, He is waiting for us to come to Him, submit to Him, confess to Him, and get our sin, failures, and shortcomings under The Precious Blood of our LORD Jesus Christ so that He can render a Perfect Holy and Just Verdict on our behalf, in our favor. That’s how much He LOVES us. That is how much HE LOVES YOU!!! He sent His only begotten Son to pay the price you could not pay, so that He could give you the Absolutely Perfect Holy Love you and I will never deserve outside of our LORD Jesus Christ and our faith in Him.

So, my dear and precious brothers and sisters in the LORD Jesus Christ, and my dear and precious brothers and sisters in the first Adam, seek the face of the LORD GOD Almighty. Run to Him and confess all to Him. He is waiting with bated breath just to scoop up and hold YOU, His dear and precious child, and to make all things between you and Him right, and just, and perfect, and at peace.

Approach our Awesome Loving Abba Father with humility and a contrite heart, and He will NEVER turn you away. He will ALWAYS accept and receive you. HE LOVES YOU SO MUCH HE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO RESIST HOLDING YOU!!!

4. We turn from our wicked ways.

We MUST turn from our wicked ways. Here “turn” means “to turn back” with the idea of never returning to what we are turning back from; which is evil. If we are turning back, what is it we are turning back to? We are turning back to our originally intended created state of being, a life lived in the Presence of our Holy Abba Father as His Image and Likeness upon this earth. Living such a life that without speaking a word, our living is a testimony to The LOVE that HE IS, and to His Goodness. We must turn from anything and everything in our lives that is not of our Abba Father. We MUST!

Sound crazy?! Just think about how glorious it would be to live and exist as a perfectly flowing example of the LOVE that our Abba Father IS. What kind of impact would that have upon us? What kind of impact would that have upon our families? Our neighbors? Our communities? Our nation? Nothing could ever withstand us because This LOVE never fails.
